Content of Section 8 Notices - new case

The case of Masih v Yousaf was heard by the Court of Appeal on February 6, 2014.

By Section 8 of the Housing Act 1988, the court may not “entertain proceedings for possession” unless the landlord has served a notice in the prescribed form or the court has dispensed with the need for such a notice.
